BACKGROUND
A Vision For The Future
Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) recently released a plan to Put Science To Action (S2A). Part of this plan called for an intensification of the use and application of technology in flood rescue operations. AMFIBIA RESCUE was conceived in response to this plan by employing the use of Sealegs patented technology with local experience and manufacturing.
The rescue boats designed by AMFIBIA RESCUE were specifically designed to meet the needs of the new Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) for Flood Disaster Management, approved by the Cabinet of Malaysia in January 2014.

FLOOD RESCUE

Natural Disasters and floods are becoming an ever increasing part of modern life.
The frequency and impact of these disasters demand a modern response. AMFIBIA has developed a boat specifically for Asian flood response.
AMPFIBIA has worked with the world leaders in amphibious marine craft to deliver a craft that has capability beyond that of conventional flood rescue boats.
Being amphibious it can traverse both land and water. This enables the vessel to reach victims in places only helicopters can reach.
AMFIBIA boats are affordable and can be operated with little training. These benefits mean it is an asset that should be owned by all first responders, civil defence and rescue departments.
